QuickBuild2 Documentation

Overview

This milestone version does not contain all features of 1.x (although they will be added in the final 2.0 release), and should not be used in production environment. It is intended to collect feedbacks from existing 1.x users for some new features.

Changes since 2.0 M1

  1. Reports have been refactored. Has native support for JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, Checkstyle, PMD, EMMA, and MbUnit.
  2. Statistics have been refactored and is able to compare statistics chart between different date range for one metric or different metrics either in the same configuration or in different configurations. Has native statistics support for build status and for the reports including: JUnit, NUnit, Checkstyle, PMD, EMMA and MbUnit.
  3. The customization for build reports and statistics. It is also possible to add any 3rd party reports by adding definitions in the pluin setting of com.pmease.quickbuild.plugin.report.generic.
  4. Security management. Fine-grained permission control over configurations.
  5. Authorize/unauthorize build agents
  6. Add subversion repository
  7. Introduce the concept of proof build to build/test user's uncommited changes at server
  8. Add support to build Rake based projects
